Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumHow can we win Michigan??
On Friday, when we went to see our next v.p.
at the opening of our Hillary office.
There was no merchandise to be had, only to be told to go on line and buy it.
It was bad enough to wait over 2 hours for a brief chat despite having a r.s.v.p.
They could have worked things out a lot better, like we had with the Obama office.
What to do,no one to talk there about it.
We need all hands on deck, and on the same page.
Keeping fingers crossed for right now and hoping that they will get their act together.
This is too important to slack away at a office. We need to win, folks

(524 posts)However,Hillary office should have things on hand like in the past.
This is not the way to run a local office on many levels, especially with no one in charge with info.
Many were upset at what they did not find,,,,,just sayin'

(32,835 posts)If it was on hand in the past someone paid for it in advance. This has been true for the past several elections.
Campaigns can go broke providing free stuff. People take it because they are collectors, not supporters, a lot of the time.
ETA: Rally signs and stickers are the exception.

In past campaigns..,going back to Clinton / Gore, items were there to purchase.
We don't have issue with paying for signs, stickers, buttons or whatever.
Let's hope in the next few weeks things change
All items you had to purchased them here and Hillary supporters were willing to do so not everybody has a credit card to go online tons of older people cant afford to here in Mich....as we talked to many here...yesterday so for them they should have items there to purchase as before....

(524 posts)as far as the winning ticket.
However we must not sit on our hands,in the meantime and do everything we can, like it's the only thing that matters.
which it is.Let our voices be heard. ♫ ♫

(3,300 posts)Plus people would like a keepsake collection to keep for this election year and to show off that your not part of that republican party and we are voting for Hillary in Western Michigan which is Republican strong hold all you see here is Republican signs and therefore Hillary items are needed for Hillary supporters to show off to everybody your not one of them otherwise they have no idea.....as we talked to many yesterday who went down there to buy items they where sad they could not.....

While I was disappointed that I couldn't get into the Wealthy Theatre, the large crowd is evidence of how strong Democrats are in a traditionally Republican area of the state.
In order to get into the rally, people had to fill out forms expressing how they'd like to volunteer. In that way, they recruited dozens, if not hundreds, of volunteers - just for West Michigan. And this is for a state where Hillary's leading by 11. They're probably at fever pitch in states like Florida and Arizona, which will likely be closer.
I can never remember being able to buy merchandise at a campaign office - at least not during the Obama and Kerry campaigns.
Keep calm and knock on some doors!
