Glad to hear he was in his beloved city as they celebrated this victory.
This after speaking of the need to balance work with time off at the State Department.

He has been working non stop, so it is great that he could be part of this with his town.

On an aside, there were news on Teresa yesterday. She is doing fine.

It is great to hear that she is doing well. (She sounds like the old Teresa hear in wanting to have a conference to help others.)

John Kerry had a hectic Wednesday. By day, he helped dedicate a bust of Winston Churchill at the Capitol; by night, he was a hardcore Red Sox fan. The Secretary of State raced to Boston for Game 6 of the World Series to cheer on his team, with a great seat in the first row. And the victory was especially sweet for Kerry, a source tells us: The last time Kerry attended a sixth game of the World Series was in 1986, the infamous time Bill Buckner missed the ground ball.
The former Massachusetts senator was still celebrating Thursday morning: He showed up in D.C. bright and early for his 8:30 a.m. staff meeting wearing a World Series champion hat. (Plus, there was that gif making the rounds online of Kerry high-fiving Jacoby Ellsbury, after the center fielder scored in the fourth inning.)

It was pretty weak and lazy to write "Red Sox Guy" -
