Thinking of a one-way, about 90 miles. Never used Uber before. Any ideas? thanks

(2,165 posts)Depends on demand and the number of available drivers. I use it a lot in Las Vegas. I've had a trip cost me $15 one time, and $65 a few hours later. High demand and surge pricing can inflate the price quite a bit. Their website should have a estimator that should give you a rough idea on what it would cost during non surge times.

(3,645 posts)It depends on if your locale regulates them. I'd suggest Lyft, in NYC and in NJ their drivers seem more like our crew. Google apps on your phone should have ride services as an option.
90 miles isn't going to be cheep. You may have to mix Lyft w mass transit or trailways.
