Men's Group

Seriously. I took a look at the FAQ:
"Men are 11x times more likely to be incarcerated than women." Hmm..wonder why that it is.
"Men don't do as well in school as women." Could it be that many young men feel entitled to receiving good grades for less work than women? Could it be that many young men are scornful of education? No, it must be the women's fault.
I just don't understand the need to be contrarian here. Why can't more men ally with feminists, rather than dismissing them or worse, coming up with elaborate-yet logically bankrupt-arguments for why it's men who are the real victims in gender relations?
Oh wait, I think I know why.

Trash the damn group if it annoys you.
Not you specifically, I mean the people who have nothing better to do than go "warrrrrhhhllll there's a mens group grrr grrrr warghgghllll"

(9,709 posts)and issues of interest to men should be able to be discussed without running it by and seeking the approval of those who purport to represent feminism here at DU first. I notice you haven't asked any of the four women's groups to justify their existence..I wonder why that is?
Oh wait, I think I know why.
