They've been telling me for months, the bond rally is nearly over. The Fed will not tighten that much because the next recession is almost here. Inventories are building, and this began in late November. (I do not doubt that last point). Stocks are overbought, and the tech rally is rotating into value stocks. US markets are overpriced relative to Europe and Asia. Oil has peaked. Inventory numbers are in disarray because of chip back-orders. This left a lot of almost finished goods in-process waiting for electronic components. So a massive amount of completed and inventoried goods is expected to accrue to the numbers in the months ahead. Don't know if it's all true. But that's the buzz. I'm a bit whipsawed by the rally, is it all due to the end of the pandemic? We're to the point where no one wants to count anymore.
