Emily McCormick quits Yahoo! Finance; is headed to Columbia for MBA program

It was the references at DU that did the trick.

Some personal news: Yesterday was my last day at
@YahooFinance
! It’s been a wonderful nearly four years in the newsroom, and I’m very excited for what’s next.

It’s been a privilege to have been able to write about and appear on-air to discuss markets and more for YFi’s audience. A huge thank you to my colleagues — too many to list out here — for making all this possible and teaching me so much.

Up next, I’m heading back to school! I’m thrilled to share I’ll be pursuing my MBA at Columbia Business School starting next month. I’m really looking forward to continuing to learn and grow in this next endeavor.

You don't learn or grow in an MBA program. You are sterilized into mental submission.
