Quote for the Day:
Not every German who bought a copy of Mein Kampf necessarily read it. I have heard many a Nazi stalwart complain that it was hard going and not a few admitin privatethat they were never able to get through to the end of its 782 turgid pages. But it might be argued that had more non-Nazi Germans read it before 1933 and had the foreign statesmen of the world perused it carefully while there still was time, both Germany and the world might have been saved from catastrophe. For whatever other accusations can be made against Adolf Hitler, no one can accuse him of not putting down in writing exactly the kind of Germany he intended to make if he ever came to power and the kind of world he meant to create by armed German conquest.

(47,130 posts)all else fluctuates. Growth funds have a lot of tech now, and value funds show signs of revival when tech falters, then fall back. Dog stocks are just sitting there. Conservative cyclicals subject to inflationary pressures are lagging - I'm thinking McDonald's and Kraft Heinz. Many stocks make a run on good news only to fall back.

Heh. Or maybe I could update the SMW template and change the ancient Welcome to Economy Forum post.

But I will definitely give it my best shot, and if for some reason it's not possible, I'll let you know.
We have a tradition to uphold here!

Yep, on par with the trading capitols of the world such as London, Chicago, and NYC. Louisiana with its acting like a House Speaker is sure to throw the criminal world markets back on their heels.
May 28 (Reuters) - The company that owns Donald Trump's social media platform Truth Social said on Tuesday it has sent a letter to the commissioner of the Louisiana Office of Financial Institutions to open an investigation into alleged "illicit activities" in the trading of its shares.
The letter, from Trump Media and Technology Group's (TMTG) (DJT.O), opens new tab CEO Devin Nunes to Commissioner Scott Jolly, asks the office to look into any kind of market manipulation and, particularly, whether the trading has violated Louisiana Securities Law.
