There is insufficient volatility to trade. Tech growth is bid to the moon. We are in a trading range consolidation. Depends if I get my price on my largest position. I did ditch Pfizer a few weeks back at a pretty good place. Intel is comatose. Other than growth tech beaten up I'm not looking at new positions very much.

for those of us who are retired and aren't traders.

(I did an experiment in the 90s with day trading Monopoly money sort of thing. I made money but concluded I wasn't very good at it and kept my night job in nursing)

I'm just wondering what the trading frenzy before the debate is all about, who are they expecting to stand there and change feet, stomping on his tongue between putting a foot in his mouth. My guess is that killing TFG's mic when he finishes his allotted time will do him more of a favor than letting him rave and rant would. I just hope the networks do a split screen, showing him red faced thad frustrated while he continues to scream.

Most people are nonplused when I tell them the markets do better under Democrats, absolutely flabbergasted if they actually look it up.

So thanks, Joe, on behalf of all the other retirees in TV land. I'm sorry for the day traders, hope they kept their boring jobs along with it.
