Quote for the Day:

Taken together, the two cases reveal just how drastically judges empowered to decide the scope of constitutional rights can miss their mark. The justices invented a right to work long hours for little pay virtually out of thin air, yet they could not move themselves to stop one of the most intrusive invasions of a woman’s liberty in all of American history.

buy this, hedge that, sell another. Bought and sold enough McDonalds to eat at McDonalds.

I'm not expecting major up moves for the rest of the week. Any stock that's had good earnings/announcements has moved and never looked back. Stalking MU, WMT, INTC, DIS, UBER. Missed GOOGL a couple months back.

Some gurus seem to anticipate a 15% upside move over the next 3 months, I think partly in anticipation of interest rate cuts. Some say to move to mid-caps and small caps. Japan has finally started to hum. AI is still moving and will continue. But I have a bag with bad earnings too, and they never move. Just never.
