Company says Omaha union is intimidating replacement workers

OMAHA, Neb. —
The Kellogg Company is seeking a court order to stop striking union members from blocking the entrances to its' Omaha cereal plant.

The company filed a lawsuit against the Omaha chapter of the Bakery Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International Union, arguing members are intimidating replacement workers as they enter the Omaha facility.

Union members have been picketing since going on strike October 5th. Contract talks earlier this month did not resolve the labor dispute. The strike affects Kellogg's plants in Omaha, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Memphis, Tennessee and Battle Creek, Michigan.

have brought us safer working conditions..higher pay - better healthcare..better schedule of hours of work..better vacation, time off..etc etc etc..

Hey Kellogg, union workers eat cereal too..but for now..your competition will eat your lunch..money for lawsuits...sure, money for better pay, not so much..bad idea to sue strikers..it is their right!!!!

Here is another strike situation..7 months into strike, Alabama coal miners keep the fire burning Alabama coal miners and their families have been on strike against Warrior Met Coal since April 1, - these are hard working folks, not some bunch of rich snots..just wanting a basic living..
