Like during Covid-19 max crisis wherein Nurses and doctors of the military were assigned to hospitals....Could pilots be assigned for the Airlines?

I've said it before and always say it. My last job was understaffed with "salaried" employees coming in on days off. Meanwhile, the county advertised itself as supporting work-life balance. Shit show
