inside personnel is only about 65% of what the grocery warehouses around me are paying for starting help. If they do strike please help support them by being sure that the things you order are being shipped by other methods whenever possible. Also don't forget that you can send them a pizza or two while they are on the picket line. I have supported strikers in the past and refused to cross picket lines in order to make deliveries or pick up shipments and I'm damned proud to say I did. I remember when the Caterpillar workers were on strike years ago and were at the truck gate in Pennsylvania. I saw them, I stopped my truck before getting to the guard shack and I walked to where they were standing off to the side of the drive. They were not impeding anybody or anything but just letting people know they were on strike. I talked with them for a minute and they told me it was no problem for me to pass. But I told them I would not come in to pick up the shipment and that crossing a picket line was not alright with me. They thanked me and I walked back to my truck. Turned around and called the freight broker and explained that I didn't know there was a strike when he gave me the load. No problem on his end either. I went to the truck stop and felt good even though I needed the money that load would have paid. Don't sell out. Find another way or take the sacrifice that comes but don't sell out. Do it that way and you won't have to wonder who that is looking back at you in the mirror. You also won't feel like having to lower your eyes.
