A book sale at Taschen that has to be seen to be believed

Taschen is discounting many of its best books--fine art, architecture, cinema, photography, travel, and more--by 50% - 75%. I urge anyone who loves books to check it out. It ends Sunday night.

Taschen's books tend to be oversized books with high quality photography and images. Their Star Wars "archives" books, regularly $200 are around $100. Same for the James Bond 007 "archives." Some of their Stanley Kubrick books are also deeply discounted.

Just to give you an idea of how they are even discounting some of their brand new books, they recently released a two volume monograph of architect Norman Foster's work. This release was a major event. The books are Xtra Large, retailed for $350, and are now discounted to $199.

And many of the books are not even close to that expensive. Many of the photography books are under $50.

Fans of Marvel Comics might like their Marvel Comics library.

There are so many books on so many fascinating subjects I'm not sure which ones to mention or emphasize. Fortunately, it's not an infinite number of books--about nine pages.
It probably took me twenty minutes to view them all. Anyone who just loves books might check this sale out.

(I hope this post doesn't violate any DU rules. I have no relationship with Taschen other than as a loyal customer--but I know a good thing when I see it and want to share it with DU. Let me know if this post breaks a rule and I'll remove it)
