Am I allowed to post my new website/shop here?
Revamped my online shop and now accepting Apple & Google Pay. I also have PayPal & Venmo.
I'm trying to figure out how to link through the "meta" business app but I think I have to upgrade my web account and can't afford that yet!
I do readings and make Wands and Intention Jars with crystals & herbs, etc. I also take special orders. I am going to be offering my Medicine Wheel class in the Spring, looking at online options right now. I have goven this class twice at the local Community College and had good reviews, might look into re-starting it at a yoga studio in town, then I can video the classes and upload them!
The new website is:
https://www.wisdomkeepertahoe.com/#/
Let me know of this isn't allowed...

But I do know how Native Americans feel about this kind of business. They call it "plastic shamanism."

(24,374 posts)The site says that the "wisdom" and "spirutuality" was learned from other people who have Native connections.
Perhaps you are aware from your Cherokee ancestry that tribal religious ceremonies, practices, and traditions are different from one tribal nation to another and that there is no "one size fits all" religion of Native American people.
I just know that I recognize on the site some claims and offers that are contrary to the views and practices of several Native cultures, e.g. treating spirituality and sacred ceremonies as something to sell. For comparison, it is a bit like if someone decided to sell the experience of taking Christian communion.
You are free to set up a "spiritual business," just as other people are free to see it differently than you present it to be.
BTW, I have some Native ancestry, too - Seneca, Mohawk, and Algonquian. But I do not use that ancestry to claim that I know the "wisdom of the elders" and "spiritual secrets" to sell to people outside of their original context.
