Really Tnready, not common core since the Tennessee legislature changed the name to squelch the rising tide against common core but changed nothing else. By any other name... I teach math and my students returned from taking part one of the algebra test totally deflated. I told them about the viral common core problem concerning 5 X 3. They also asked how a quadratic could be put into a different form. I told them about vertex form. I have been warned to never do these things again. I thought my job was to teach them. Guess not.
