Classroom discipline in 1947

Mr Grimes is probably still traumatized by the living hell he witnessed on Guadalcanal.

I wonder if the problem is that they've got all those 19 year olds in a 9th grade class.

It might work. But kids today are in no way afraid of authority or taking a paper home to get signed.

Out. I remember having awful teachers who turned me off from learning but luckily had more teachers who were kind, patient and really wanted me to learn the subject.

And I agree those kids don’t look 14 years old!
