Permian teachers: Evaluations are false

http://www.oaoa.com/news/education/ecisd/article_dfffc4a2-c1c6-11e3-815d-001a4bcf6878.html

On a Monday, a Permian High School teacher’s evaluation was returned with satisfactory and high marks.
The next day, a different campus administrator continued the review and her job was deemed poor, unsatisfactory and below expectations.
To the teacher, it was the worst review she’s ever seen.
This teacher is not alone. She’s among at least five teachers at Permian who have come forward to say they are being given unfair appraisals and believe its Ector County Independent School District’s way of pushing them out the door.
And beyond the candid statements from teachers, a vocal group of their students is standing up against the administration.

I am in Pennsylvania and our new state-mandated evaluation system is being used to force retirements and resignations. "Hit list" is an excellent term for it.

I know this because I see it happening in my own district.
