Sinopec Limited has officially opened Hong Kong's first public hydrogen fueling station, the Aotou hydrogen station, located in Yuen Long, New Territories. This pioneering station is the first in Hong Kong to integrate multiple fueling options including oil, gas, hydrogen, electricity, and additional service facilities. The launch ceremony, held on the 26th, underscored the strategic importance of this development in the region's energy landscape.
During the completion ceremony, Tse Chin-wan, the Secretary for Environment and Ecology of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government, highlighted the government's efforts to advance hydrogen energy applications.
