Revolutionary Hydrogen Motorcycle Set to Transform the Roads

Get ready for a game-changer in the world of motorcycles! Kawasaki, renowned for its cutting-edge innovations, has just unveiled its groundbreaking hydrogen-powered motorcycle, the H2 HySE. This revolutionary machine is not only designed to challenge the dominance of electric vehicles, like those from Tesla, but also takes a bold step toward sustainability.
The H2 HySE is equipped with a dynamic hydrogen engine capable of delivering a whopping 125 Kw of power and 250 Nm of torque. Its sleek design features two compact hydrogen tanks cleverly integrated into the rear, maximizing space and giving it an impressive aesthetic that stands out on the road.
But what truly sets this motorcycle apart is its ability to utilize a dual-injection system, optimizing hydrogen intake for a more efficient and powerful combustion process. With this innovation, Kawasaki showcases a commitment to cutting down on emissions while paving the way for a future where hydrogen fuels our rides.
While challenges for hydrogen fuel, such as pricing and storage, remain, the potential for a cleaner, more sustainable transportation future is undeniable. Kawasaki is leading the charge, with the H2 HySE marking the beginning of a new era for hydrogen vehicles...more

(35,048 posts)...looking to rebrand their product as "hydrogen," couldn't care less that the fucking planet is burning.
Some of us are serious and aren't looking to "transform" the world by wasting fossil fuels to make hydrogen for toys.
A Giant Climate Lie: When they're selling hydrogen, what they're really selling is fossil fuels.

(34,695 posts)new information is discovered. First one anomaly discovered and then another and finally a paradigm shift. The recent discovery of vast deposits of hydrogen. Then a new theory of the earths core producing more. Maybe not, maybe yes. Then there is nuclear, that also has problems to solve like wast.
Well see, but dont dismiss every new idea.

(35,048 posts)Of course my personal problem is that I've been listening to hydrogen bullshit for half a century and none of it panned out.
I do note that the fossil fuel hydrogen greenwashing squad has built an enthusiasm for "drill, baby drill" here.
When is this drilling miracle expected? I've been here 22 years, and heard thousands upon thousands upon thousands of wishful thinking predictions based on very little data. In that time the concentration of carbon dioxide rose by more than 50 ppm. So when is the geologic hydrogen miracle coming? 25 more ppm from now? 50? 100?
The fossil fuel greenwashers want everyone to believe they're drilling for hydrogen. Will they close the wells every time they hit natural gas?
The credulity is astounding.
I remind everyone that ten or so years ago Elon Musk was seen as heroic here.

(35,048 posts)...of so called "nuclear waste" and declare it a "problem" can you point to any time in period in the 70 year history of the generation of commercial used nuclear fuel, or even the entire history of its accumulation that it injured as many people as will die today from fossil fuel waste? The number of people who will die today, like every other day in the past few decades, is about 19,000.
I will accept as an answer references from reputable sources, ideally the primary scientific literature.
Which is a worse problem, so called "nuclear waste" or extreme global heating driven by fossil fuel wastes?

(34,695 posts)They might as well spend a small amount of all that research spent on oil and solar to check it out.

(35,048 posts)...as you say, "they" never found it before, it ought to suggest something.
Suppose though, "they" found it. The world now consume about 4.5 billion metric tons of oil each year. Just when is this magic hydrogen going to appear at levels like that? How long will it last? Is it any wiser to bet the planet on it than it was to bet the planet on solar energy? How is that magical solution working out?
Given all the holes already drilled already for gas and oil, what is the probability they'll be billions of tons per year?
The fossil fuel green washers here trying to rebrand them as hydrogen like to point to all these devices powered by hydrogen. What would be the cost of building an infrastructure to make these devices be as prevalent as cars?
I'm sick of magical thinking. There is no evidence, none, that hydrogen will ever be a source of primary energy on the scale of oil and gas, and even it were, using it would be no different the the robbery from future generations that we carried out with fossil fuels.
A "hydrogen economy" is a persistent lie and would be a bad idea under any circumstances. The only people to have benefitted from this bullshit are fossil fuel interests, whose main task is to sell complacency. They've succeeded at their goal, leaving the planet in flames, apparently here as in the broader world.
Have a nice evening.
