DIY Pallet Furniture Set
This is definitely on my "things I want to do" list. Every small business is trying to get rid of pallets around where I live. Probably start a pallet furniture store.
"Designs made from pallets are a staple of TreeHugger; they are cheap and ubiquitous. British designer Sarah Williams shows how she made this lovely table and four chairs from pallets, every step of the way. I like the table design with the space under the glass. I like the view too;..."

(38,958 posts)but I just don't know if I would want to use pallets. There is the point of you just never know where they have been or what has been on them (in some cases for extended periods). Not sure if I would want a table made with pallets that had drums of chemicals on them.
Still the table is a nifty concept.

(4,840 posts)with limited to no finishing. Though I like the material used, I would not design my table the same. I would prefer it port-ably light with a minimalist aspect to it. I'd probably throw some cushions on the chairs, though. Now that I think of it, I don't even know if I'd want table and chairs, actually. I'd prefer to just sit outside on a flat rock.

I would link to a site where someone is chronicling building a tiny pallet house but they haven't updated in a year or two.
