Housing prices have gone nuts.

Thought we might move, after a month of looking we gave up and are staying put. Been looking at South East Michigan. Up here in the mid-state area prices haven’t gone up like down there.

Seems like a bubble to me. Like 2008.

Even my crummy little house here in California has quadrupled in value; recently by almost $100,000K!

Unbelievable! I really cannot afford to live here but I am some how.

We saw a house listed for $110,000 that looked great. Next day the listing said $120,000. We had called to look at it and the realtor said they had 48 offers the fist few days and excepted one for $148,000.

second crappiest neighborhood in town --- paid $83,500.

It is now worth $750k, with no improvements, additions or whatever being added. Our stepdaughter and husband are buying it for $400k, with a "life estate" given back to us.

place to build a million dollar home. Used to be farmers cashing out, but now every one's in the game. Vast amounts of money looking for a quick return. Not just me, but loads of people with good incomes priced out.
