I don't believe he personally knows any male athletes who are vegetarians, so this will let him know he's not "alone". Over the years, he has done much research on how to create an appropriate diet for himself. This website dedicated to healthy vegetarian diets will be of particular interest to him. Yep, before we dropped him off at college today we shopped for the protein powder he uses as a supplement. Trying to eat a healthy vegetarian diet while at college is not easy. Needless to say, I prepared all his favorite dishes during his winter break from school. I, too, am a vegetarian. My husband, no. But he's beginning to really enjoy the meals I make....hoping that he will completely convert to a no meat diet in the near future!

Just because it would be much harder, although alot of places do have pretty decent food choices now.
