Volunteers provide vegetarian meals to underserved Harlem (NYC) residents
http://newyork.cbslocal.com/2015/04/17/volunteers-team-up-to-provide-vegetarian-meals-to-underserved-harlem-residents/NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) A unique group of volunteers from all walks of life have been coming together every week to feed Harlems hungry.
As CBS2s Meg Baker reported, they offer fresh, healthy vegetarian meals.
Gary Ashby told CBS2s Baker that he is concerned about growing poverty in him neighborhood.
This is needed very badly. A godsend you could say, Ashby said.

(53,235 posts)3. That's great! I don't think we do that in Mass. either.
But there's at least one state that will arrest you for feeding the homeless. Pathetic.
