Veggies & Gays have something in common...
Today we were watching TV and an ad came up for this organization: http://protecttheharvest.com/
Their ad started out, "There's a storm coming". It was the same ominous warning used by the National Organization for Marriage (NOM). The beginning even looked the same.
Sad. So sad. (Though I'm happy to note that I'm now an animal rights extremist, according to them.)

On edit: They're adamantly opposed to the HSUS, too.

For me, her being a vegetarian just makes menu planning a little harder.

(7,598 posts)'No Farming', flashed off to the side of the HSUS guy. No farming?
I like farming. Fruits, nuts and vegetables of all kinds, especially legumes.
Notice how the last assault on the map is a huge splotch of the map where 'animal rights extremists' were responsible for regulating pet owners?
OMG!!! You won't even be able to eat or beat your own cat or dog if they have their way! Gasp!
