They manufacture Abilify, among other things, so yes, I imagine they do some animal testing since there is not yet a reliable non animal model for medication research. When there is, I will be among the first to applaud it.

Either it's a conglomerate snapping up a small cash (non dairy) cow or they were interested in the company and its non dairy "dairy" products. Lactose intolerance is 90%-95% across Asia and non dairy alternatives to things like ice cream could generate a huge amount of revenue for them.

Otsuka will have the cash to advertise, one presumes.

Daiya's vegan pizzas are awesome. Not quite as good as Tofurky's, but close.

I propose a law saying Gardein can't be sold to anybody.

If they're bad people, or Republicans, or Trumplings -- I do not want to know. I live on Gardein.
