In my mind, innocence rates higher than power. The innocent must be the resposiblity of power to protect. There are no creatures more powerful than adult humans. Human power without intuition breeds arrogance. Arrogant power is a virus because it devours it's host.

If life on earth is going to flourish and survive, power must yield to innocence.

lead horrific torture through their entire short lives and are killed for food. The cognitive dissidence to me is astounding.

My grandfather was born in 1887. His father lived in a time when passenger pigeons were common. There were an estimated 5 billion of them. It was said that a massive flock a mile wide and 310 miles long, took fourteen hours to pass. Old timers called the pigeons the living wind.

They went extinct about 1910. Hunting and habitat loss wiped them out.
