Coronavirus ground zero food market was selling koalas before virus outbreak

(This is from January, but I didn't know they even had Koalas. I would have thought Australia could prevent people from poaching koalas).

A food market at the centre of the deadly coronavirus outbreak has claimed they sold live koalas, snakes, rats and wolf pup to locals to eat.

The Huanan Seafood market in Wuhan, China is under investigation after officials believe the coronavirus originated from a wild animal that was sold at the venue.

One user, clearly shocked at the sale of live animals, wrote: “Just take a closer look at the viral wild animal menu — they even eat koalas.

According to the list, there were 112 live animals and animal products readily available to purchase.

They eat puppies, cats, koalas. I'd rather eat ground up bugs. Seriously.

But you're right, leave the wild ones the fuck alone!

The world needs to grow some empathy. (There's a little chemical that can help with that, btw.)

When he criticized the media's obsession with CV19: "CoVid, CoVid, CoVid. I'm sick of hearing about it."

That was it for me. Give me that remote, I'm not watching his self-centered rant again. CoVid is a big big fucking deal, Bill Maher.

HBO “Real Time” host blasted factory farming as “just as despicable” as China’s wet markets.

Maher said one reason he wasn’t watching the “Tiger King” show was “because torturing animals is what got us into this mess.”
