A whimpering Labrador was allegedly beaten and shocked with an electric collar while in a lake in Louisiana, in a viral video posted to social media, according to local news.

The disturbing video appears to show a teen abusing a frightened dog while hunting.
The Labrador in the video cries out in pain while trying to swim to the shore.
The dog is stopped by a teen in the water -- who appears to threaten to burn the dog with an electric collar again -- while laughter can be heard in the background.

The teen forcibly holds the dog by the neck, screams at the dog, and punches the dog in the head.
The innocent pup appears terrified and desperate to swim to safety.
