PETITION TARGET: Attorney General's Department of Sri Lanka

A wild male elephant in Sri Kanka was allegedly shot in the leg -- footage reportedly showed him writhing on the ground in visible pain -- before being deliberately set on fire with torches by three men as they chased him, according to the BBC.
The severely burned animal eventually succumbed to his injuries.

The suffering this innocent elephant endured as he was shot, chased, and burned is beyond comprehension -- and those responsible must be held accountable.

Please sign our petition urging the Attorney General's Department of Sri Lanka to prosecute the individuals who inflicted this cruelty to the fullest extent of the law.

Ya think someone oughta shoot them in the leg, let em writhe in pain and set them on fire.
‘Turnabout is fair play’ goes the old expression…not humane, nor my style, seems like justice tho they would understand.
