Paul made this for me for lunch one day. He put it together with Chik'n patties from Gardein. It made for a very tasty (and quite nutritious) meal. Fat content is a tad high, but overall the product was very good.

And can I say that I LOVE Gardein. I'm getting ready to make lunch for work this week. Broccoli and their boneless tips. The aforementioned tips being the absolute most beef-like thing I've ever eaten. I steam a pound of florets and cook a package of the Gardein, then toss the broc into the pan with the tips to simmer for a couple. Delish. Makes 2 meals (cuz I'm a pig) for less than $3 a meal.

I adore Gardein products. My favorites are the Scallopini and the Tenders. I could eat them daily.

They are the only place we've found (thus far) that carries them locally. One of my co-workers was going to check Whole Foods to see if they had them.

They have a searchable distributor drop down on the left of the page. Just went to their site on the package just now.

to stumble over these at my local family health food store. They actually caught my eye in a cooler I rarely look in just from memory of your post. I picked up a package solely on your recommend. Thanks.

How did you guys prepare them? Cold or did you heat them up and how?

Just sauteed in a bit of oil. Nothing fancy, though they could be tossed with other veggies, too.

And picked them up solely on my review? No pressure or anything, right?

Just happened to be in there to pick up a couple things and as I walked by the cooler thing, my photographic memory picked up on them and I thought "these are the things Will talked about"

They had 5 or 6 different things. I almost got the Thai dumplings too, but one of the main ingredients was carrots, so I opted to just try these.

I'll keep that in mind the next time you forget my birthday. Which will be next March.

Seriously though, no rush. I haven't even got to go to a game yet. And I'm sitting on a crapload of gift cards for tickets. No time.
