Russian stuff blowing up: Russia starts mass roundup of migrants

Russia’s overreaction to the terror attack on the Crocus concert hall has begun in earnest. Of course, the obvious consequence to Russia of this is that the jobs these migrants performed will go undone.

This sounds like something Trump would try to do.

St. Petersburg has launched a large-scale "Anti-Migrant" operation to deport citizens of Central Asian countries, the Department One human rights project reports.

The project's lawyer, who defends migrants' rights, said that law enforcers are taking migrants by buses to overcrowded deportation centers in St. Petersburg, conducting raids on apartments and hostels, and preparing buses to transport migrants to Pulkovo airport. Several buses have already moved to the airport."
