Rent is Free in South Korea. What's the Catch? - PolyMatter

This video discusses the jeonse system in South Korea. In this system, a large deposit (up to 90% of the value of a property) is placed and the boarder lives rent free for two years. At the end of that time, the deposit is returned to the boarder. The system worked well while interest rates were high in South Korea, but as interest rates declined complications in the system developed.
