Hungary, Slovakia call for EU action after Ukraine bans Russia's Lukoil - DW News



Hungary and Slovakia are calling for the EU to mediate over Ukraine's Lukoil ban. Both countries, which are considered to have pro-Moscow ties, said they were no longer receiving oil from Russia as a result. The European Commission has three days to respond to the consultation initiated by the two countries. But as the temperatures rise in Europe this summer, so are the tensions.
