Hungary's Visa Relief for Russians and Belarusians Spark EU Anger - The Gaze

Hungary has introduced simplified visa rules allowing citizens from eight countries, including Russia and Belarus, to enter without security checks, raising concerns within the EU. Critics argue that this move could invite Russian spies, with potential restrictions on Hungary's participation in the Schengen zone being discussed. The decision follows Prime Minister Viktor Orban's visit to Moscow and has drawn sharp criticism from EU leaders, who are calling for countermeasures at the upcoming summit.
