Russian President Vladimir Putin is warning the West against letting Ukraine use their longer-range weapons to strike targets deep inside his country.
His comments come ahead of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer's meeting with US President Joe Biden in Washington. The two leaders are expected to decide whether to allow Ukraine greater control over Western-supplied missiles.
Ukraine says Russia has attacked a civilian grain ship in the Black Sea for the first time. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says the vessel - carrying Ukrainian grain to Egypt - was struck just as it left Ukrainian waters, off the coast of NATO member Romania. No one was injured.

(1,292 posts)You are only mad because Ukraine is fighting back against occupation and wanting to stay independent. Next you are going to say that Georgia (which by the way, has Abkhazia and South Ossetia occupied by Russia) doesn't exist. That's your playbook. Russia has no right to complain. The only reason you are doing this is because you want to revive the Soviet empire. Really, Ukraine has every right to defend itself against the invaders. You can't be upset that Ukraine is now taking the war to Russia.
