Why Can't the U.S. Intercept Iranian Drones as Easily as Ukraine Can? - William Spaniel

As Iranian drones strike U.S. assets and partners in the region, a major question has emerged in the war: why can't the United States intercept them as easily as Ukraine can? Yes, the United States is intercepting the vast majority of the drones, but the cost per interception is substantially higher than what Ukraine pays. Today, we explore this question and clear up two misconceptions. First, the United States and other Western allies already understand how Ukraine does it. The technique is no secret. Second, the United States has an offensive solution to the problem that Ukraine does not have available. Ultimately, we are watching two competing hypotheses regarding modern warfare being tested on the battlefield, and the results will dictate future military doctrine.
