With pro-boycott arguments failing to make an impact, Bloomberg report finds, fertile conditions are driving record capital flow
Last week the Israeli State Comptrollers Office issued a scathing report chastising the Foreign Ministry for not having a cohesive strategy to fight the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement, which targets Israel over its perceived ill-treatment of the Palestinians.
But despite the many failings detailed in the report, underlining an inability to present any significant political achievements in the battle against BDS, the movement seems to be having little economic impact, according to a Bloomberg report examining foreign capital flow into the country.
While BDS has seen some victories in its efforts to stop international entertainers from performing in Israel and encourage companies to divest from Israeli firms, total foreign investment in Israeli assets has in fact gone up, with 2015 clocking a record high of $285.12 billion, Thursdays report said. Thats a threefold increase since 2005, when the BDS campaign was first launched.

...for the fact that they've been VERY, VERY successful at turning more people against Israel and Jews.
Israeli Jews aren't feeling the effects as much as diaspora Jews who are under threat and being attacked more than we have been in decades. That fascist turn against Jews is what makes BDS successful, portraying Jews as thieves & cruel baby killing oppressors.
That's what they're about, they're in it for the long haul & they'll keep doing it.
Ever notice none of them seem to give a damn about the spike in attacks against Jews in Europe or the USA? That's what they want. It's their goal. Stabbing attacks in Israel? It's to be expected, Jews deserve it. A one-state solution where Jews are no longer safe in Israel or anywhere else? That's exactly what they want.
that the same people - the BDSers - who want to foment hate against Jews outside of Israel also want to remove the one Jewish nation from the earth that serves as a sanctuary for the Jews who have been forced to leave many countries in recent history, and today are leaving countries directly because of the new left BDS-linked anti-semitism such as France, Sweden, UK.
there are no other "acceptable" boycott movements focused on delegitimating a people. on the other hand, there is an unbroken string of boycott movements going back to 1933 to delegitimate the Jewish people, moving in 1945 from, er, Europe, to the Arab world, and shifting its name and management in recent years from the Arab boycott to BDS.
the prevalence of the attitude that motivates this movement makes it all the more imperative for Israel to stand strong.

No boycott movement for this democracy, also aided heavily by US funds.
Not a peep.
It's exactly what you'd expect from a fascist antisemitic hate movement.
