Have the Palestinians held any anti-Hamas rallies?

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by Lithos (a host of the Israel/Palestine group).

If the Palestinians aren´t out protesting Hamas, then they are for Hamas. Silence is consent.

It is possible to say Israel has done wrong and that life in Gaza made your wish for protests VERY difficult. Why do you want all Palestinians to die? That seems to be your take. It is very cruel.

The Palestinians had their chance to stand up to Hamas BEFORE ONE OF THE WORST ATROCITIES IN MODERN TIMES. They didn´t stand up so now they are suffering the consequences of supporting a terrorist organization.

It´s a good thing you weren´t around during WWII or you would have been more concerned about Germans dying who were not in the Nazi party rather than destroying the Nazi party.

Has Tel Aviv or Jerusalem allowed any pro-Palestine rallies? 20% of Israeli citizens are Arabs. Israelis love to protest when their rights are being threatened.

I just finished watching CNN, which showed Palestinian families walking south, dragging the dead bodies of loved ones on tethers. They said there was nothing else they could do. In the same segment, more interviews with members of the Israeli Government and Military, referring to Palestinians as animals and dogs. Not a good look,

Damn you are insulting. One can be desperately outraged at Hamas’ cruel inhumanity toward Israelis AND feel concern about the likely killing of innocent Palestinians.

There's no need to state why there are not public demonstrations against Hamas in Gaza, you are as aware of them as any of those you are trying to provoke. You might want to take a long look in a mirror and contemplate whether you would find it in yourself to rise and face them. It is one of the great engines of human behavior that people tend to over-rate their virtues, and hence their performance in crisis. It is quite wrong to tax people with not meeting some standard you imagine you would surely meet.

A more pertinent question might be, why are there no such demonstrations mounted by Palestinians abroad, who would face not gunmen but a police more or less friendly to them should they do so.

occupied for decades and now they are trying to merely survive. The last time Palestinians held protests Bibi allowed snipers to shoot peaceful protesters from the top of the wall. So no they would if they could but everyone seems determined to let them die.

You should really at least act like you may understand that the Palestinians have no real choices. They live in a prison. I guess the fact that they got shot at by Israelis when they protest is not a relevant fact. It's all good if all the citizens of Gaza die, I guess
