An effort to provide medical care to critically ill Gazan children

has been stonewalled by Netanyahu. The Israeli Defense Minister has attempted to provide a temporary facility on the Israeli/Gaza border that would be away from bombing and fighting but has been overruled by Netanyahu directly who states there will be no treatment of Gazans. The Defense Minister appears to have been trying to respond to a humanitarian medical crisis that is also front and center with condemnation from the international community. The Defense Minister did have discussions with Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin but the US position is not known. Cancer patients and others with critical medical needs have been unable to maintain treatment schedules etc.

Update the Title and separate out your narrative from the story?

If not, then I will have to lock this.
