A small group of very powerful republicans will make sure Trump will never run again.

Who are these people? Enthusiasts who have studied and been involved in politics for more than 30 years. Yes, there
are republicans who know Donald Trump can never win another election. They are like us, long time devotees to their party.

These people know that Trump will not win anything, and will do their best to convince others that Trump has no chance
of winning because.......Donald Trump is a killer, a liar, and a fool." ......................................
..................And we are not the only ones who know the truth about Donald Trump

...All one has to do is imagine this ad being played across the country thousands of times during a heated election:
..Donald Trump is standing there, saying: "The virus is all a hoax" Or . "It's all a hoax"

Then, a short sentence saying tens of thousands of people died because they heard DonaldTrump say those words:.......
..............................."It's all a hoax".......................................

....There are powerful experienced politicians who know the truth, (Yes, there are Republicans who know the truth) & they will do everything possible to stop Trump from running for "ANYTHING" because Trump will destroy their party for a good number of years if he runs for any office....(Yes, ANY OFFICE)

....The republican party may not be able to build itself back after such an experience of Trump running again, and those
dedicated, experienced republican professionals, (some elected to office, and some appointed and work with elected officials) will do everything possible to keep Donald Trump frum running for any office again.

.....................................That is my opinion, and it will not change......................................

De Santis is at most 5’6” tall and has lately ballooned to obese levels. As unfair as it may be, short, fat candidates don’t do well in Presidential races.

Out of all the 2016 GOP primary candidates, Trump was the only one who could not win against Hillary.

Yet their message of hate was so strong that he did win.

They knew what he was then. It sure seems as if fealty to TFG remains a significant factor in thug primary races.

A lot of Republicans certainly didn't want him specifically in power (especially after they realized how crazy he was), but they wanted someone very similar to him. They deliberately created the sociopolitical environment that led to Trump's ascendancy, and the only thing that wasn't part of their plan was the top job getting sniped by someone they couldn't control.

On the whole, the "anti-Trump" Republicans are probably a lot more pleased with his performance than they claim to be; they've certainly learned some valuable lessons for next time.

They could probability prevent him from winning though.

One thing I wonder about is states' & political parties' ability to keep names off of primary ballots.

Gotta remember the biggest asset we have: OUR NUMBERS! There are more of us than there are of the bad guys. And if trump insists on forcing himself into the race again, there are enough moderate GOPers to create division and disharmony within their own ranks. Which we should EXPLOIT. BIGTIME!!!

..but if the GOP controlled state legislatures, legislate themselves full control over the elections, it won't be a fair race. I understand a lot of traditional Republicans want him out but the people who would vote for the crazy ******* far outnumber them. And that's assuming he runs...and if he doesn't run, who'll be the candidate? DeSantas? Hell, he's crazier than Trump.

By far the most real, grave and present danger that Donald Trump poses to our nation is in a political, legal and constitutional sense; he is taking our country down the slippery slope towards fascism and autocracy. And I'm not sure that the American people have the intelligence, wisdom or political will to resist his siren calls of demagoguery. And so, I am all for any way that Trump can be taken down, hopefully by legal indictments from the New York or Georgia AGs, or the January 6 Committee, or any or all of them. TRUMP MUST BE STOPPED!

Watergate should have buried the GQP for decades but it didn't...now, here we are again.

I don't think there is a chance in hell that trump will win reelection, he's never won the popular vote yet and he's not gaining any new followers and he's killed off a lot of the folks that would vote for him in the future. That said, DeSantis scares the hell out of me...
