Related: About this forumAn opinion on why Trump won't run in 2024. He won't have enough money!
In my opinion it is that simple. Why? The super rich Republicans will not support Trump because they
know he is going to lose. Trump is a liar and a crook and it is that simple. Trump stole documents from
the government, and the FBI had to go into one of his apartments to get those documents.
The resulting publicity from the ..."Stolen Documents" and the Jan 6 Insurrection Hearings, have destroyed
Donald Trump's political value. Trump cannot win any election with 30 percent of the vote. It is that simple.
Repeat: Thirty percent doesn't win an election. It never has, and never will.

(7,822 posts)And I am sure hell find people willing to fund him. And I think he thinks that running will shield him legally. I expect hell try, unless hes legally prevented from running.

(38,726 posts)that Donald Trump cannot win an election. The Jan 6th Committee Hearings are not enough, but the stolen
documents & the hearings are "Enough" in my opinion. When you are sure that a candidate will lose, then
you do not donate to the loser. The rich professionals will not donate, but others will. But, are the "others"
enough to make up for the "Rich Republican Professionals."?
...I do not think so. Trump may try to run, but in the end, because he is who he is, Trump will lose. He will
not raise enough to make a solid run for President in 2024. That is what I believe.
....Donald Trump is a loser, plain and simple. He is also a crook and a liar. He may run, but he will not get
enough money for the entire race. That is my opinion, and it will not change.

(9,696 posts)He would run anyhow and his followers would write in his name, and then he'd claim he won and storm the Capitol again.

(10,599 posts)He'll get more than enough $$$$$ from his supporters, and there are plenty of super rich people who will give him money.
And he probably has more than 30% of the vote. He had around 48% just 2 years ago, and despite what has happened, he did not go from 48% to 30%. He probably has at least 40% willing to vote for him if he runs. You act like those things you mentioned are a negative. But they're a positive for the repubs, not to mention he just has to act as if he's "owning the libs," and they'll LOVE him for it.
