I dreamed
I was shopping in a store, maybe walmart. I don't shop there in my waking moments. In the dream, I had the sense that I was away from home, maybe on vacation. The store was very light and sunny. I was at the checkout. I was wearing my tan balaclava and a jacket. My husband was holding the handles of the cart, as I unloaded. There was a clerk, a woman about my age. As I started to lay my things out, she said, "We have to pray." I was going to accept that, but then I got irritated and defiant. I said, "No. That is not appropriate." She looked angry. I said, "If you want me to go to another checkout, I will." And started to pick up my stuff. She said, "No" and got ready to ring me up. I wanted to improve the atmosphere, and said "in the Bible, Jesus said to render unto Caesar what is Caesar's and unto God what is God's." She was trying to argue, but was struggling with a balaclava-wearing woman spouting verses from the Bible. The dream was very vivid. I woke feeling very proud of speaking up. Was kind of disappointed it was a dream.
