(9,597 posts)I hardly post on DU anymore in large part because I cant deal with politics like I used to.
I know (for the most part) that DU is supportive, but I cant take the reminders of the constant hate and struggle. And as my own gender dysphoria eats me my tolerance gets lower and lower.

(2,809 posts)Having long past extensive PTSD therapy emboldens me to an extent to take homophobia by the horns: browsing some sites for updates, YouTube videos on the matter had largely supportive comments, but also quite a few cringeworthy posts. But realizing they're nearly all violating Google's YouTube policy of respectful posting, under the category of "encouraging terrorism" I flagged at least two dozen troll-posts that were undeniably doing exactly that! I encourage anyone to help knock these knuckleheads posts down. The TFG Era along with the creepy likes of Boobert and MTG emboldened these idiots to behave utterly without a scrap of humility, empathy or decorum.
I've had it up to the stratosphere with these emboldened village idiots.
