It is why many GBLT people, Jews, and immigrants (and likely others), are really starting to worry. Used to be hate crimes were "one and done" types of crimes, now, hate crimes have turned into mass casualty events. Make no mistake, there are still plenty of hate crimes where only one individual is harmed/harassed/murdered, but now, it seems to me and a few others, we will see even more "group" hate crimes in the days to come.

Had friend in my early twenties that had a father that kicked him out of his house because he was gay. My boyfriends mother, at that time, let him live with them for a while. I am sure his conservative father would have preferred that. I lost track of him when he moved to FL. This was back in the late seventies. I always thought of him as a gentle soul. Must have gotten it from his mother. I haven’t thought of that in a very long time.

A mass murder is fine and they will tolerate that, but that gay stuff that Jesus never mentioned certainly is justification for banishment or even death.

Back in the day, they would be made fun of as "ret***s" at school and so forth.

Now, we have social media to hold them up to scrutiny, so it is a lot more convenient.

He obviously has limited mental capacity and what little he has isn't filled with anything worthwhile.

This family seems inclined to jump from poor life choice to poor life choice as they journey through life. Toxic masculinity seems to be pervasive with the males.

The Aldrich grandfather in California appears to also be heavily inclined to extreme conservatism and toxic masculinity is also a badge of honor and pride there with him too.

Toxic masculinity is so deeply ingrained in American society,.. it is so detrimental to our culture. Then along comes tRump to glorify and normalize toxic masculinity all that much more.
