Oklahoma School District Inundated With Bomb Threats After Libs of TikTok Tweet

Experts have described the tactics employed by Chaya Raichik, who runs the account, as stochastic terrorism.

In what appears to be the result of stochastic terrorism, schools around Tulsa have received repeated bomb threats after the conservative superintendent of Oklahoma schools shared a post from right-wing extremist Chaya Raichik’s Libs of TikTok account.

For six consecutive days, Union Public Schools have received bomb threats.

The Tulsa Police Department and FBI determined that the threats were not credible. The district has indicated it will continue vigilance of suspicious items inside and around threatened buildings, Rolling Stone reports.

The threats started after an elected state official amplified a message on a right-wing extremist’s social media account.

On August 22, Republican State Superintendent of Public Instruction Ryan Walters quoted the social media account Libs of TikTok.
