With talk like that, I worry about my friends who live in Asheville, NC. It's a bright blue dot in the middle of solid red western NC. It's a lovely town. Very funky, LGBTQ friendly, and Pagan friendly.

That guy is a real nut job and anyone who follows him is the same. He is a danger to everyone in the state, regardless of his posturing and preaching. He needs to be shut down. The fact that he is still a viable candidate is proof that my home state is in a dire situation, which mimics the national situation. The choices are simple. Sanity or insanity. Which is preferred?

My husband and I have actually considered moving to Asheville or the surrounding area. That's why we were down there last September. It's a great place. But, if NC is going to elect people like him to be their governor, I would not want to move there.

I have only experienced the like when I am in the deep swamps of The Dismal. Asheville has a potent magic and it will be very upsetting if the more... malignant... parts of the population get this man into office.

Very upsetting.
