What century is this again?

I am used to homophobia because of where I live; it is as common as the air I breathe. BUT, I am stunned by some of the homophobic BULLSHIT I am seeing in regard to Pete being considered for VP. Some of it isn't even thinly veiled. All we are missing now is someone calling him a "faggot".

I am so fucking angry right now!

I don't know why it matters who we love. What Pete brings to the table is what matters. He is more than qualified for the position. He is inspiring and knows his shit. Never backs down from a question and brings the receipts. He would be a great VP

The people who would not vote for a ticket with a gay man on it WILL NEVER VOTE DEMOCRATIC PARTY REGARDLESS!!!

These people are using that as a way to excuse their own prejudice.
