decades of thyroid imbalance left me too exhausted after 10 minutes of workout to continue, so I'd give up. With the hormone imbalance corrected, I'm trying to undo years of bad diet/smoking/sedentary damage. It's slow, but it's working.

It helps to find something you enjoy. If I was to recommend any one thing (unasked I know, sorry), it'd be yoga. Especially if you can get to a class taught by Steve Ross. I used to *love* his show called Inhale, but it's been cancelled now.

one of my girlfriends does yoga and loves it. I'm trying to build up a little coordination and balance before I try it.

They had huge linebacker-looking guys in the classes, struggling to do the moves. It made me feel great about my skill level as a beginner.

His fans have been begging for DVDs for years. Maybe someday...

i got healthy and stayed fit for a couple decades now. all in moderation. no guilt. and moderation.

**** 'skinny'... healthy and chubby is beautiful, cause it's the healthy that matters to thinking people, and superficial people suck ***. IMHO
