I have always been big into fitness, but I loathe most 'fitness' magazines, adorned as they are with the typical Miss Representations we're all so familiar with.

(6,199 posts)decades of thyroid imbalance left me too exhausted after 10 minutes of workout to continue, so I'd give up. With the hormone imbalance corrected, I'm trying to undo years of bad diet/smoking/sedentary damage. It's slow, but it's working.

(115,164 posts)It helps to find something you enjoy. If I was to recommend any one thing (unasked I know, sorry), it'd be yoga. Especially if you can get to a class taught by Steve Ross. I used to *love* his show called Inhale, but it's been cancelled now.

His fans have been begging for DVDs for years. Maybe someday...
