Awesome Amendment to "Personhood": the "Spilled Semen" Clause

I posted this in GD but things move so quickly there I wanted to give you all an opportunity to chuckle and chortle with me.

I have been waiting for years for someone to propose this...Thank you State Senator Constance Johnson of Oklahoma for making my day...

"Oklahoma State Senator Constance Johnson, a Democrat, has offered an amendment to the “personhood” bill pending in the state legislature. The pending bill, if passed, would declare that “the unborn child at every stage of development (has) all the rights, privileges, and immunities available to other persons, citizens, and residents of this state.”

Johnson writes that “the Personhood bill would potentially allow governmental intrusion into families’ personal lives by policing what happens to a woman’s eggs without any similar thought to what happens to a man’s sperm.” Her amendment reads:"

and by point, I do NOT mean the viagra based one.

When push comes to shove, the further that these GOPers go to the far, far, right, the more likely that people will finally come to realize that they are liberal at heart, not conservative, and that being liberal is the most ethical, moral, and human (AND humane) way to live.

Doesn't it have to join with an egg to meet anyone's possible definition of an unborn child.

Aere there fundies out there calling sperm cells unborn children?

The only time I've ever heard it is people against it making fun of the idea.
