Buttigieg Says Wheelchair Incident in Viral Video Will be Investigated

Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg said the department will investigate a viral video of a wheelchair being tossed down a baggage chute at the Miami International Airport.

In the video, the wheelchair can be seen flying down the ramp, slamming into the gate and flipping onto the runway.

The caption in the video, first posted on TikTok, indicates other wheelchairs were also not taken down to the tarmac properly.

Buttigieg said the incident was "unacceptable" on a post on social media.
